Rebel Against the Tyrants

For nearly two months, Americans have allowed government to shut down businesses, destroy jobs, and wreck the economy. For nearly two months, Americans have tolerated an unprecedented destruction of values.

This isn’t a new occurrence in American history. In the 18th century Great Britain enacted a series of laws that shut down businesses, destroyed jobs and wrecked the economy of the American colonies. Americans responded by rebelling against the tyrants. They responded by going to war against the most powerful nation on Earth at the time. And when they succeeded, they established the greatest nation that has ever existed in human history–the United States of America.

The America of today is not the America of our Founding Fathers. They risked their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to establish this great nation. Today, American are willing to sacrifice their lives and their fortunes to the demand of government officials. And in doing so, they have no honor.

We often hear a lot of bromides about government. Government, we are told, is by the people, of the people. and for the people. But when government is destroying our ability to live, then which people is it by, of, and for?

America’s Founding Fathers were courageous men who stood up to tyranny. They were willing to lose everything, including their lives, because they didn’t want to live under tyranny. They were not willing to let others tell them how to live.

If you value your life, if you want to live as you choose, then you must rebel against tyranny. You must demand the freedom to live as you choose (so long as you respect the rights of others to do the same.)
